to Cootamundra Ideally positioned half way between Sydney and Melbourne, Cootamundra is the perfect location to stop for a while or for a lifetime.

Set within greybox and iron bark woodlands, the Migurra Reserve Walking Track is the perfect place to get among nature and do a spot of birdwatching. See how many different species you can see along the trail.

Cootamundra’s history is neatly preserved at the Cootamundra Heritage Centre located at the Old Railway Barracks. The centre is open daily 9.30am to 4.30pm during winter and 9am to 5pm during all other seasons. Entry is by nominal donation.

Did you know that Cootamundra is the birthplace of Sir Donald Bradman? Located at 89 Adams Street, Bradman’s Birthplace is open daily 9am to 5pm except for Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.
