Some countries have had tremendous success building wonderful cities, railroads, highways, bridges, tunnels, electric power plants, fresh water and waste water management, protecting the environment, and maintaining biodiversity.

Some nuclear power professionals, nuclear power organizations, and advocates in the USA, UK, and European Union claim that carbon dioxide from fossil fuels causes harmful global warming and that nuclear power can help solve this so-called problem.

Other nuclear power professionals claim that carbon dioxide is far from the main cause of climate change. They respect CO2as the molecule of life. They challenge global warming alarmist nuclear power professionals who want to “ditch” fossil fuels to prove that nuclear power can control climate change.

It will take a long time for the whole world to have nuclear power. Much longer than the 50 or maximum of 100 years that certain nuclear power advocates claim. There are many reasons why expanding nuclear power will take a long time.

Electricity from nuclear power replaces just a small fraction of the energy used from fossil fuels. Claiming that nuclear power can solve a supposed man-made global warming crisis from use of fossil fuels is not a fact.

Electricity controls most technology. Electric generating facilities should be protected from easy to commit acts of terrorism and war. To lose electricity for several months would cause a serious collapse of civilization.
