Epoxy Coffee Table This porotype coffee table is designed to explore the application of colored epoxy in conjunction with standard furniture. It was important maintain the form and function of a table with the aesthetic and physical design choices.

This table was made using a minimalistic mindset with the idea that it could be sold in mass. The base is made entirely of a single 4’ x 8’ sheet of ¾” oak plywood. This was done in order to create the look and feel of a high-end table while cutting down on material costs.

Floating Bookshelf The inspiration for this bookshelf came from manipulating the rows of a standard four level bookshelf to create the same functionality with a modern design. The shelf was made of 1” x 12” select pine to give it a minimalist yet clean-cut look. This project was made to be hanging, or “floating”, on a wall.

Floating Shelves This project was an experiment in integrating an entire space of a room with a functional piece. The selves span the entire 10’ wall length as it weaves backs and forth like a snake. Placed on top of the main trunk is the wider and thinner section almost as if the main section is growing though it.

The main trunk of these shelves is made of stained 2” x 8” SYP while the middle portion is made of 1” x 10” select pine board.

House Flip The following pictures visually show the real estate “flip� of a single-family house in Deer Park, a neighborhood of Cincinnati, OH. The house, built in 1925, consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom. The total interior area is 1,290 square feet.

Each picture shows a before and after view of a specific portion of the house. Highlights of the scope of work included a complete bathroom renovation, a complete kitchen renovation, landscaping work, painting the entire interior, refinishing hardwood floors, and building a new deck. The entire renovation started in June and was completed in August of 2019.

Drawings The following drawings represent the entire scope of work from the Construction Drawings class at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College during the Autumn of 2010. The focus of this class was to develop the basics skills in hand drawing of construction and architectural plans. The focus was mastering the use of the required hand tools to understand the role of lettering, line weight, and consistency in drawing. Each drawing is unique in that they each required different tasks and different skills to be used.
