THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS AMONG MEN SEPTEMBER 27th-30th

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLE - FEAST OF INGATHERING “The Tabernacle of God is Among Men” Tabernacles much more than a remembrance of the children of Israel’s deliverance out of the bondage of Egypt. It is the revelation of the plan of salvation and deliverance from the bondage of sin and so much more. The very thought of God sending His only Son to dwell among men, to take away the sins of the world, brings the thought of joy and praise.

Having so great a Gift places all lesser gifts in proper perspective. Emanuel God with us, the most reassuring promises of Scripture are the “I-Am-WithYou” promises. They begin in Genesis where God says to Isaac, “Fear not, for I am with you” (Genesis 26:24, KJV). And they occur again and again, and they reach a glorious climax in Matthew 1:23, “And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” (KJV).

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Rev 21:1-40).

“Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain (Zec 8:3-9).

“But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there” (Neh 1:9).
