“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work” (2Tim 2:19-21).

“Are you living a life that is pleasing to God, or are you falling short? We all wander off the path from time to time, but He is able to make us a living witness that will bring glory to God. As I was reading Jeremiah 18:1-11, I saw the process of being made or perfected by God. God told Jeremiah to go down to the potter’s house and that He would cause him to hear His words.

How important it is to cultivate hearing God’s voice. How important it is to cultivate the hearing of God’s voice. The Father is always speaking, but we are often too busy to hear. We are admonished., “Be still and know that I am God!” “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (Rev 21:1-3).

“Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles” (Ro 9:20-24)?
