Don’t Throw In The Towel

“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.”

2Thes 3:9 August 6,2017

If things ever get to that point in matters that have to do with our trust in God or our faith in Jesus, it’s a very dangerous thing. Have you reached that point, lately? I’ve had enough. I can’t take anymore. What’s the use? Might as well throw in the towel. There’s a firm, attention-grabbing word from the Maker of heaven and earth, delivered to each of you through watching Jesus ascend into the sky till he was hidden by the clouds.

Don’t Throw In The Towel Never lose faith. You can face your difficulties by the presence of CHRIST, for He is stronger than all of them. Draw upon His power. Stand in faith.

You can rise above everything when your trust and hope is in JESUS! “But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Mt 19:26).

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body” (2Co 4:8).

The Full Assurance of Faith “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
