FIRES OF PENTECOST SET THE FIELDS ON FIRE

JUNE 9-12, 2016

He will set your fields on fire, If the sin, is, your desire. You have heard, Jesus call, ’less, you, serve us all. Let the Lord, your, soul inspire, If you join the Heavenly choir and rejoice with Him, as the sun grows dim, When He sets the world on fire.

Jesus said,”The harvest is the end of the world”, it is the gathering of His saints in the last days. In the parable of the wheat and tares, the tares were to be gathered first, into bundles to be burned, casting them into the furnace of fire, then the wheat will be gathered into His barn (Mt 13:37-43) The Fire Is Coming!

John the Baptist message was of one who would come after him, who was mightier than him, who would baptize them with the Holy Ghost and with fire.

John said of him, “Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable” (Lk 3:17). The Fire Is Coming!

When the time of harvest comes, the fields having brought forth fruit, the gatherers are able to discern the difference between the good and bad. The words of Jesus reveals we will know who is of God and who is not. “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles” (Mt 7:15-23)? The Fire Is Coming!

We are told here that many will come saying “Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works”? They will receive the answer they were not expecting, “depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. The Fire Is Coming!

There are many today building on the foundation of Jesus Christ, who are busy at work, some sincere, some who are not. Paul told the Corinthians, “But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward” (1Co 3:10-15). If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire” (1Co 3:10-15). The Fire Is Coming!

It seems harvest and fire goes hand in hand. Harvest, the time of the End when Jesus will return, the time of Judgement. He is coming to give to every man according as his works shall be. “As of 2010, Christianity was by far the world's largest religion, with an estimated 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth”. The prediction that Islam as a religion will surpass Christianity by the end of the century should be a sign to we who believe, the time of Christ’s returning for His bride is at hand. The Fire Is Coming!

During the time of harvest Samson went to take his wife, but his father in law gave her to another. After hearing this, in his fury Samson caught three hundred foxes, tying their tails together, with a fire brand setting them loose on the fields of Israel’s enemy the Philistines. When the Philistines saw this, they asked who did this, the answer was Samson did this because his wife was given to another. The wrath of the Philistines was not kindled on Samson, but on the wife and her father, whom they burned with fire. The Fire Is Coming!

God has waited patiently for the earth to bring forth His precious fruit. The time of harvest will come and He will send His Son for His wife. The fire will come, revealing who is His and who is not. The Feast of Pentecost is the beginning of Harvest, we see in the New Testament in Acts, when the Day of Pentecost had fully come God began to gather out of Israel those that are His, by seventy AD, the fire came on all who had rejected His Son, leaving Jerusalem and Judah burnt to the ground, scattering them to the wind. The Fire Is Coming!

We all need to be ready, the fire of God will either ignite you into a bright light for Him, or leave you as ashes! He will set the fields on fire, only the gold, silver, and precious stones will remain, the wood hay and stubble will be burned. In all the gloom of this world there is a time of refreshing of the Lord coming. Though we are in the midst of the fire the Son of God is with us. Let us come to the Fires of Pentecost with rejoicing in our hearts, as a bride waiting for the Bridegroom. He will set the World on Fire!
