Duringthesummerof2020,Iwasdealingwithemotionalstrifeanddepression.Insteadoflettingthoseemotionsgetthebetterofme, Iwantedtoputallofthatandtheenergyintomyworkandthus Persevering waswhatcameoutofit.OriginallyscoredforPierrot ensemble, Persevering isathree-movementworkwithapurposetobringforththeattributesofperseverance,showcasingthree relatablescenarios.Themovementsaretitled:
1. Gradually Overwhelming isthefeelingofanxietyanddepressioncollaboratingtogethertocombatmyemotionalwell-being.
2. Loneful Endeavors startsoutwiththevibraphonebeing‘TheLonefulEndeavor’.Whattolookforinthismovementisthe pairing,foreachpairrepresentsacouple,arelationshipandhoweachpairblendsintothetextureasthenextpaircomesin.
3. Worth the Wait isthehomestretch,thefeelingthatyouhavesuccessfullypersevered.
