Dr. Aaron Cook has wanted to be a dentist for a very long time. In the 9th grade at Berry High School he was voted “Most likely to become a dentist” by his classmates. After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College and then UAB Dental School, Dr. Cook went on to complete additional training in Rochester, NY before teaching cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry to dental residents for several years. He purchased his current practice in 2013 and has spent the last year giving the entire office a complete makeover and technological upgrade. The Jimmie Hale Mission serves three meals a day and provides overnight shelter. Last year the Mission provided well over 200,000 meals as well as more than 62,000 nights of shelter. Alabama native Rush Garner founded Rush Wines, a Birminghambased distributor of limited-production wines from around the world, in 2002.
