WORLD?

What would you give to wipe out a disease, or give someone a chance at a future? What would you give to ensure the future of the arts, or give a scientist the resources to discover? No matter who you are or where you are in life, you have the power to do all these things. Because when you support the work of UAB, giving something , changes everything.

BECAUSE EVERY CHILD DESERVES A CHANCE TO BE A KID Big Oak Ranch exists for one reason—to give children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned a chance. A chance to lead a normal life. A chance to find God’s love. A chance to rise above where they came from and become what God intends for them to be. Today more than 100 children live at Big Oak Ranch. Since 1974, nearly 2,000 children have called Big Oak Ranch home. We’ve lived countless stories, successes and heartbreaks so compelling that no one who hears them remains unchanged. The reason we exist is to relieve the suffering of children and to stop the cycle of abuse. Our children deserve to know they are loved. They deserve the chance to understand the meaning of family. And they deserve a chance to live a healthy, happy, stable life. Join us in our mission. Big Oak Ranch operates Big Oak Boys’ Ranch in Gadsden, Big Oak Girls’ Ranch in Springville and Westbrook Christian School in Rainbow City.
