Tai Chi is a gentle Chinese art that has been practiced for about 1,000 years. It is an exercise in that it improves lower body strength, bone density, blood circulation, and balance; it also reduces blood pressure Modern studies have shown that it helps relieve anxiety and depression Since it is a lowimpact activity, it can be practiced well into one’s later years

Basic Firearms and Permit to Carry a Concealed Handgun Training
This is a one-day basic course for men and women with little or no experience with firearms, as well as for more experienced shooters Included are explanations of ammunition function and nomenclature, differences in various types of handguns, legal aspects of acquiring, possessing and using firearms, and the practical application of use of force laws in self-protection situations. Also included are many entertaining, real-world examples and stories. Emphasis is always on SAFETY. Completion of this course fulfills the training requirements for a Minnesota Permit to Carry a Handgun, honored in twenty-seven states. It also fulfills the training requirement for Wisconsin and Iowa Permits, and for a Florida permit honored in an additional seven states.
The live fire shooting exercise includes one-on-one coaching. Handguns and ammunition are provided, as well as ear and eye protection. An enclosed, heated shelter is provided for shooting in inclement weather. Students may wish to pack a lunch.

Early Childhood Screening supports children’s readiness for kindergarten and promotes cognitive and social emotional health and development. During screening, we observe your child’s vision and hearing, height and weight, large and small muscles, thinking, language skills, and social and emotional development. The entire appointment takes less than an hour.
Early Childhood Screening is required for entrance into kindergarten in MN Public Schools
Join us Friday mornings to connect with your children and other families through song, play, projects, and learning. Following 45 minutes of open play and a short circle time, children stay with early childhood staff and parents go to a separate room to enjoy learning and conversation centered on parenting topics of the group’s choice. Join this dynamic course to learn a dynamite instrument! All {YEL!} guitar classes follow our basic components: Teach it!.. About Boating Safely is a beginner course covering boating basics, laws, safety, navigation, and special activities like fishing, hunting, and water-skiing. Participants who pass earn a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary certificate recognized by NASBLA Students ages 12–16 may apply for a Minnesota Watercraft Operator’s Permit.
