1. People like to make benefit from what they possess. 2. There is increasing tendency to experience instead of possess. 3. Being eco-­‐friendly, socially responsible becomes a fashion. 4. Reasonable consumerism in @mes of crisis becomes a real alterna@ve to shopoholism.


CONCEPT


JIM BORROW is a plaQorm that allows two things: 1. Earn money by lending everyday things which users already posess. 2. Spare money by borrowing things from other people, instead of buying them. JB is a frame, regula@ng flow of goods between people, giving it stable basis and rules. Now lending/borrowing is not a gesture of good will anymore. Thanks to JB it becomes profitable business and socially useful way of using products.


HOW DOES IT WORK


JIM BORROW is: -­‐ a mee@ng place for lenders/borrowers -­‐ a secure plaQorm for contact and transac@ons PlaQorm allows: -­‐ easy search through categories or keywords for goods we need -­‐ registra@on of the profile for lenders/borrowers -­‐ friendly and secure way of communica@on between the two parts -­‐ secure way of lending/ren@ng ones belongings -­‐ earning money to users -­‐ sparing money to users


TARGET GROUP


Target groups 1. Lenders Psychologically: open minded, interested in other people, in touch with trends. Sociologically: middle and big ci@es, singles, couples, couples with children Incomes: average, looking for savings Age: 16 – 45 Mo@va@on: First: Want to create new source of income. Secondary: Want to develop social contacts, be trendy.


Mark, 26, owns a Bosch driller worth 350 PLN. Uses it ca. 5 minutes a year. Since using JIM BORROW, for a year now, he rented the driller out 8 @mes, earning 20 PLN each @me. This year driller will pay itself.


Anna, 28, owns a bread baking machine. Worth 200 PLN, she has already rented it out 5 @mes, for 25 PLN each @me.


Lisa and Paul, own two kayaks, worth 3000 PLN for both. Since using JIM BORROW, for two years, they have rented kayaks 10 @mes for ca. a week. They have earned 150 PLN each @me, which covers half of the original canoes price.

Chris, always wanted to try self balancing SOLO WHEEL. Never had money to buy it. Rented it on JIM BORROW for 100 PLN for 10 days. Had real fun with friends.


Paul. Needs to fix country house. Needs stable, professional saw to cut wood pillars and fence. Borrowed it for 7 days on JB and MADE THINGS DONE. He saved ca. 2000 PLN on buying it. Instead he payd 200 PLN to other JIM BORROW user.


Eve and Bjørn need a tent for a family mountain trip. A big one. Instead of spending 2500 PLN and have another thing that occupies place in basement, they have rented a really luxury tent for 300 PLN for 10 days.

Primary: Commission based model. Each transac@on brings income to JimBorrow plaQorm. Secondary: Adver@sers.
