Welcome to the 12th Panamerican Food and Music Festival, presented by the TD Ready Commitment. We are thrilled to be back at Nathan Phillips Square for the second time, and ready to celebrate the wonderful diversity of the Americas and the Caribbean with you. We are so proud to have been named twice as Best Latin Festival in Canada.
Don’t miss our largest-ever Panamerican Parade on Saturday evening, with over 300 performers from 25 countries in a spectacular pageant of costumes and music. Be sure to bring your camera! The International Empanadas Competition on Sunday afternoon features six women chefs; the winner will be crowned Panamerican Chef of the Year. Please support our local community businesses by enjoying a delicious Panamerican meal, a beverage in our Beer Garden, or purchasing a colourful souvenir in the Festival Marketplace.
It is my pleasure to thank our wonderful partners, who help us to bring PANAMFEST to you as a free event. They include the City of Toronto, the Governments of Canada and Ontario, and our generous corporate sponsors. Special thanks to our dedicated planning team, Board of Directors and Festival volunteers my family and friends for your efforts. And thanks to our wonderful audience for sharing your Panamerican pride with us.
