Be assured that Safety Day will be conducted with a variety of safety measures in place. The Wilderness/Glacier Canyon Conference Center has implemented a number of safety protocols and has been holding successful events. Many of these protocols have been adopted as part of their normal day to day routine. WABA will be changing up the format for Safety Day just a bit this year and will implement the following safety protocols for attendees: • All attendees will be required to complete a Covid health screening questionnaire when checking in at Safety Day. • If an attendee answers “YES” on the questionnaire as having visited any countries outside the US in the last 14 days or, has been in close contact or cared for someone with Covid-19 in the past 14 days or, has exhibited the following symptoms in the last 3 days (1) fever with temperature above 100.4°F, (2) dry cough, (3) fatigue, (4) body aches and pains, (5) sore throat, (6) trouble breathing or (7) shortness of breath, this will result in the individual being exempt from participating in Safety Day and will be sent home. Your company will be reimbursed the participant registration fee. • Participants will be encouraged to bring their own masks but if they don’t masks will be provided by WABA. • Masks must be worn at all times whenever participants leave their conference room seat for breaks or any other reason. • Masks can be removed while seated in the conference room during sessions or located outdoors. (Note: If your company policy requires your employees to wear a mask at all times even when socially distanced then that is what they should do.)

8SUMMER 2021

• There will be no breakout sessions. All sessions will be conducted in one conference room. This will prevent participants from sitting in seats occupied by others throughout the day. • Participants will be socially distanced and seated approximately 6 feet apart in the conference room. • Participants will not be allowed to change seats throughout the day. • A plated lunch will be served in the conference room. Participants do not need to wear masks during lunch while seated at their conference room seat.

SPECIAL NOTE: These safety protocols may be subject to last minute changes based on updated

CDC recommendations and/or requirements of the hosting facility.
