Oakland served as a rich resource when its hillside oak and redwood timber were used to construct San Francisco. Lake Merritt that is a large tidal lagoon situated in the middle of the Oakland was announced as the first official wildlife refuge and now is listed as a National Historic Landmark. this city is beautifully beautiful with all that it has.
