Jack and Lucas met on May 4th, 2024 at a local car club drive-in movie night. They were then reunited at Bartlett Beach Bash May 17th. It wasn’t until June 8th where Jack asked Lucas if he would want to date. He said ‘yes!”
Since then, they traveled together to Flagstaff, Palm Springs, Detroit, San Diego, Los Angeles, Bartlett Lake and “Happy Jack”, Arizona. Everytime growing closer and closer together with every excellent adventure.
Jack and Lucas actually lived similar parallel lives in parallel states, Michigan and Wisconson respecively. They both had many long and short term relationships. Both owned small homes, both loved water sports, camping, off roading, both owned Cadillacs, Jeep Wranlers and beleive it or not, both owned black Lincoln Towncar Limosines! Who can say that?
While they were both taking it slow and cautious not rushing into a serious relationship since they were both burned before, it wasn’t until one hot summer Arizona day where Debbie Kimm, Lucas’ amazing mother, said “You guys should get married”. His father, Steven agreed. We both looked at each other and our jaws dropped. When in the history of the marriages has a mother and father been the first to recommend marriage. The seed was planted. Jack proposed on January 25th, 2025 at his company’s 30th Anniversary party. Once again, Lucas said “yes!”
While in a perfect world, these two Midwest “boys” should not be together because of the “slight” age difference, but the similarities in their past live’s, common intrests, beleifs and passions plus their compatibility and unconditional love couldn’t be ignored. It was destiny. It was meant to be.
While this may seem new and indimating to many of you, it is normal for them. Society has grown to accept diverse marriages and as our friends and family’s that will celebrate with us, thank you! That is why we decided to have it at one of the best restaurants in Phoenix with by far the most amazing views at 1,800 feet appropriatley named “A Different Point of View”.
“I will love you FOR LIFE”
