CS-WB WATER-BASED, LOW-VOC ACRYLIC CURING AND SEALING COMPOUND FOR CONCRETE • • • • • •

Cures, seals and dustproofs freshly placed concrete. Seals and dustproofs existing concrete. Protects concrete from the damaging effects of deicing chemicals, oils, greases and other contaminants. Water-based, low-VOC (<100 g/L) formulation. Non-yellowing, semi-gloss finish. Meets ASTM 1315 and C309 specifications. Made in the USA.

DESCRIPTION: Foxfire CS-WB is a non-yellowing, water based, low-VOC acrylic curing and sealing compound that meets ASTM C1315, Type 1, Class A and ASTM C309 Type 1, Class B specifications for curing concrete.

a short-nap roller. For additional moisture retention enhancement and protection from deicing chemicals, oils, and greases, a second coat applied perpendicular (at a right angle) to the first is recommended.

WHERE TO USE: Foxfire CS-WB can be applied to freshly placed or existing concrete substrates and can be used on both exterior and interior substrates with adequate ventilation.

APPLICATION AS A SEALER FOR EXISTING CONCRETE: Prior to application, ensure concrete is clean, sound, dry and completely free of efflorescence, laitance, dirt, oil, grease or any other coatings that may inhibit the performance of the treatment. Do not apply is rain is expected within 24 hours of application. Apply using a low-pressure sprayer (airless is recommended) equipped with a fan nozzle. Hold sprayer tip 6 to 8 inches from the surface of the concrete and apply uniformly, leaving no pinholes or gaps. Do not allow material to pond. Roll out any ponded material with a short-nap roller. For additional protection, a second coat applied perpendicular (at a right angle) to the first is recommended.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: May be harmful if swallowed. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes eye irritation. May be harmful if inhaled. May cause respiratory irritation. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/ mist/vapors/spray. Wash hands and skin thoroughly after handling. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves. Protect adjacent surfaces and other nontargeted areas from overspray.

APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS: Prior to full-scale application, we recommend performing test patterns to determine substrate compatibility and performance. Do not apply in extreme heat or if the temperature is below 50°F. Protect vehicles, glass surfaces, plant life, and other surfaces from overspray. Remove overspray with water, immediately. Unprotected areas should be pre-wet with water and rinsed continuously. APPLICATION AS A CURE AND SEAL FOR FRESH CONCRETE: After all bleed water has dissipated and application will not mar surface, apply using a low-pressure airless sprayer equipped with a fan nozzle. Hold sprayer tip 6 to 8 inches from the surface of the concrete and apply uniformly, leaving no pinholes or gaps. Do not allow material to pond. Roll out any ponded material with

DRY TIME: Dry to touch in 1 to 3 hours depending upon temperature and humidity. Dry to light foot traffic in 8 hours and heavy foot traffic in 24 hours. Reaches maximum film hardness 7 days after application. COVERAGE: Test patterns should be performed to determine best approach and estimated coverage. Curing: 200 sq. ft./gallon Sealing/Dustproofing: 200-350 sq. ft./gallon Second Coat: 350 sq. ft./gallon PACKAGING: 55-gal drums and in 5 gal pails. TRANSPORTATION: Not regulated by the DOT.
