Best of Breed: Great breed example, excellent head with good cheeks, strong topline. Full of muscle with good movement. Best Puppy: Excellent type, still in development, nice head, clean movement. General Comments: All dogs shown today have great breed type. Well done.

Best of Breed: Excellent type, lovely female with good proportions, and great movement. Best Puppy: Excellent type, good bone, already welldeveloped chest. Slightly higher tail carriage.

Bedlington Terrier:

Best of Breed: Excellent type, good outline, nice head, excellent movement. German Pinscher: Best of Breed: Correct type, a bit wide in skull, correct proportions.

Tenterfield Terrier:

Best of Breed: Excellent type and proportions, lovely head.

Alaskan Malamute:

Best of Breed: Excellent type, nice head, enough dark eyes, excellent tail carriage, moves with a lot of power. General Comments: Overall, I got good type of dogs but some of them need better tail carriage.

Leonberger:

Best of Breed: Excellent type, beautiful head, in excellent condition, enough good movement in front.

Landseer:

Best of Breed: Excellent type, good proportions. Feminine in head, free in movement.

Pyrenean Mountain Dog:

Best of Breed: Excellent type and proportions, lovely head, good in movement.

Newfoundland:

Best of Breed: Excellent type and proportions. Nice head, could be shorter in muzzle, good coat and movement. Best Puppy: Very good type and proportions, still developing, still needs to grow coat.

Russian Black Terrier:

Best of Breed: Excellent type, very good proportions, very good head and movement.

Mrs Vicki Abbott (USA) Pug:

Best of Breed: My BOB was a lovely bitch, square and cobby with a nice large round head, dark round eyes and soft expression. Her ears were small and velvety. She had smooth true movement with strong legs – coming and going. Best Puppy: This is a lovely young bitch with nice balance and good length of neck. High set tightly curled tail, level topline and cobby body. Her ear placement, dark eye and beautiful pigment in her nice round head was eye catching. Very promising young bitch. General Comments: Overall entry was very good, with most dogs being properly balanced, in good muscle and good tail carriage and placement. All were very even tempered, and decidedly square and cobby.

English Toy Terrier:

Best of Breed: Nice male with long, narrow head and dark almond eyes. Correct candle flame ear shape and carried erect. Strong jaws with perfect scissor bite. Back slightly curving with well rounded loin.

King Charles Spaniel:

Best of Breed: this bitch had a compact body, a well domed head with a square well turned up muzzle. Ears were correctly set on low. Round cat feet and well cushioned – nice moving from the side with correct tail carriage. Lowchen: Best of Breed: This was a happy, lively dog, with round dark eyes and intelligent expression. Good length of neck and strong short body. Very free movement holding topline and correct tail set, carried gaily on the move. Best Puppy: Very pretty puppy with lovely intelligent expression. She has a short strong body and single, silky coat. Very free parallel movement with wonderful tail carriage. Nice and lively, happy bitch. She was good competition for the breed as I considered her as well.

Australian Silky Terrier:

Best of Breed: Nice moving dog with level topline at all times. Coat fine, flat and glossy and true silky texture. Head strong and of terrier character. Ears correctly small and v shaped. Best Puppy: Bitch of good level topline, correct tail set and free mover. Medium length neck carried proudly, coat correct colour and nice silky texture. Head of terrier like character with dark eye and correct ear set.

Yorkshire Terrier:

Best of Breed: Compact bitch with moderate spring of rib, level topline, dark steel blue coat with fine silky texture. Small v shaped ears, good tail set and carriage.

Havanese:

Best of Breed: Sturdy dog, low on legs, lively and elastic movement. Nice almond shaped dark eyes, tail carried high and topline carried correctly in movement. Best Puppy: Lively and elastic movement, sturdy bitch, low on leg with correct coat texture. Ear set correct and covered with long fringes. Good coming and going with characteristic happy attitude.

Bichon Frise:

Best of Breed: Male, lively and happy with level topline, graceful neck and carried proudly. His chest is well developed and deep brisket. Tail carried up and gracefully over back. Coat fine and silky. Best Puppy: Happy and lively puppy with nice pigment around eyes and on nose. Fairly round dark eyes, Nice layback of shoulder and good side movement. Silky and fine coat texture. General Comments: Good entry – RUBOB bitch was good competition and was considered for the breed. Excellent movement and pretty type.

Pomeranian:

Best of Breed: Compact dog, foxy in outline, ears nice and small, carried well. Shoulders nice and laid back, so very smooth movement. Fine boned, good undercoat, and harsh outer coat. Lovely balance, and excellent outline. Best Puppy: A lovely puppy bitch with lively temperament. Good foxy head and nose, bright dark eyes and small ears. Good coat, puppy soft undercoat, starting harsh outer coat of good texture. Smooth and free moving.

French Bulldog:

Best of Breed: My BOB was a beautifully built compact solid bitch, with a nice square head. Required bat ears of medium size were nicely set high and carried upright and parallel. She has a cobby muscular body and smooth and lustrous coat. Also free and flowing movement, very sound. Gently roached back. Best Puppy: This puppy was very promising. A sturdy compact puppy with clown like qualities. Square head with very pretty upright bat ears facing forward. Nice dark eyes and powerful
