Front Wall Elevation

Exemplified are screen printed banners on material flanking both sides of the screen. The Notre Dame quote is shown in dimensional bronze letter forms.

Auditorium

The auditorium currently has 146 seats and 4 handicap accessible seats. The proposed plan exemplifies removing the middle aisle which will leave the space with 126 seats and 4 handicap seats. Also illustrated on the page are elevations for the front-screen wall and side walls.

Side Wall Elevations – Concept 1

The inset areas on the wall would show historic imagery (printed graphics) from around the campus with a blue monotone overlay.

ECK VISITORS CENTER | NOTRE DAME

Side Wall Elevations – Concept 2

The banners at the front of the auditorium are the same in this concept. The inset areas on the wall would have a routed wood celtic pattern matching that of the existing wood featuring clovers and Notre Dame logo as the center piece for each. The back of the inset area simply painted the “ND” blue. This would cause a nice affect with the existing uplighting.

Auditorium

Shown are the other two concepts for the auditorium side walls.

Side Wall Elevations – Concept 3

The banners at the front of the auditorium are the same in this concept too. This is a play off of the 2nd concept only using iron or mdf painted to look like metal as the celtic pattern rather than stained wood.
