SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All registered bulls and females sell under the recommended term and conditions of the American Hereford Association and the American Angus Association.

HERD HEALTH

All bulls in the sale have been tested negative for BVD and PI. All cattle will be accompanied with proper health certificates for immediate shipment. Females that sell bred have been checked safe in calf by a licensed veterinarian. All bulls of breeding age will be sold as guaranteed breeders. If a bull is diagnosed as a non-breeder, a written statement or phone call to Burns Farms must be made within six months of the sale date. At the time, a credit will be issued, purchase price minus salvage value, for a future purchase at a Burns Farms Bull or Female Sale.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Announcements made sale day from the auction block take precedence over statements in the catalog and other advertising. We reserve the right to withdraw any sale lot not meeting our specifications prior to sale time.

EXPECTED PROGENY DIFFERENCES (EPDS)

EPDs are updated weekly by the breed associations, so we cannot guarantee EPDs listed in the catalog. The EPds were current 9/30/24. Most of the EPDs listed are genomically enhanced for improved accuracy, indicated by one of these symbols: USE the two logos for AHA and AAA.
