Cop 3 Research proposal Virtual Reality
Potential paths I know for sure that I wish to have a project that allows me to research the trajectory for VR’s use as a potential art form. I’m still unsure how to place this motive in a question that offers a project with a effective result. It needs to be less direct, when compared to my cop 2 essay, as that restricted the information I could garner from the project. With that in mind, I’m considering these possibilities: How are the advancements in VR effecting the art disciplines? Can VR change how we approach creation? Does VR have the potential to be as influential as the home computer?

I was afraid, for all of my life, right up until I knew it was ending. That was when I realized, as terrifying and painful as reality can be, it's also the only place where you can find true happiness. Because reality is real.” ― Ernest Cline, Ready Player One “I’m not allowed to say exactly how many have sold, but the Gear VR has succeeded beyond anyone’s expectations. The field is out there. So it is up to us to play the game well.” - John Carmack Virtual reality is a technology that could actually allow you to connect on a real human level, soul-tosoul, regardless of where you are in the world. - Chris Milk Nanotechnology has been moving a little faster than I expected, virtual reality a little slower. - Nick Bostrom
