Having had a website for a considerable amount of <me, I never took full advantage of it, only star<ng to update it this year and purchasing a domain for it. The domain is that of my social media handle @jm art, working in tandem with the logo/ leGerhead featured on the ďŹ rst page of this presenta<on. The goal was to simplify the layout, using liGle amount of pages and having the bulk of the work featured in the same area. For this, the visitor will be greeted by the work/ digital porJolio instantly, all in one page, and have intractable elements, such as comics and AR works, featured on a subsequent page. I opted to give contact itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s own page, fearing that having a link to my email elsewhere would possibly go overlooked. Finally, for those wan<ng to keep up to date with my work, there are various links to social media pages in the top right corner of the page.

I maintain three separate social media pages, being that of Instagram, TwiGer and Tumblr. Instagram Is my favored and currently most successful of the pages, being the most streamlined process to get others to view your work. The other pages have more of a focus on interac<on with your following, something that will require more of a following to take its own shape. I feel I have been too formal with my approach to this point, only pos<ng final works, and lacking in the said interac<on. Ach site also offers a great deal of work from others, allowing me to stay up to date with the current affairs of contemporary illustra<on.

I didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t want to make a standard business card to hand out. Instead I wanted to rely on a hot dog book format to act as a liGle porJolio for prospec<ve clients to look at. This would also have the advantage of being able to fold out and reveal an A4 scale poster. I made the books for our Hanbury hall trip, crea<ng all the imagery especially for the booklet, following a newfound interest in design and typography. Crea<ng these books have been invaluable, not only geRng use for hanbury, but alsoresul<ng in my work experience ant given to the professionals met for that.
