The Junior League of Greenwich is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women ’ s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
The Junior League welcomes all women who value our Mission.
We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations, and communities.
We welcome and celebrate women of all backgrounds, regardless of their race, age, sexual orientation, abilities, religion, or national origin

A message from the President
JENNIFER BEHETTE
The Junior League of Greenwich’s legacy as a leading women’s civic and community leadership organization, driven by compassion and service, is our crowning achievement. In addition to our focus on helping our collective community, we also work tirelessly to lift up the women of the Junior League to become effective, trained volunteers and powerful community leaders. I am truly honored to be part of an organization with such a deeply rooted history in the Greenwich community, and I recognize our League wouldn’t be here without each and every one of you.
In addition to our community projects, each year we award a $2,000 grant to a deserving young woman in our town, offer numerous training programs for our members, and facilitate a Community Advisory Council Breakfast, where we bring together 20 of our community partners for a roundtable discussion. See our Community Impact on page 8 to see all we accomplished in 2022-23.
Our projects and programs are delivered through the success of our beloved fundraising events, The Enchanted Forest and Touch a Truck, and through the generosity of our donors. On behalf of all our members, the Junior League of Greenwich thanks you for your continued support in helping us make a lasting difference in the Greenwich community.

The Junior League of Greenwich has played a major role in designing and establishing a wealth of services for the Town of Greenwich Much of the work is done in partnership with other community organizations in the area that share a common goal and mission with the JLG
The JLG’s impact on the network of services in Greenwich is widespread While its role may not be directly visible, many of the services that have touched the lives of Greenwich residents were conceived, initiated and implemented by the Junior League of Greenwich The JLG launches and administers projects for approximately two to ten years, usually turning them over to an existing agency or organization Some projects become independent entities

Each year, the Junior League of Greenwich gives an award to a local female high school student who has demonstrated a commitment to community service
CELINE FONG 2023 COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENT
Celine is a Junior at Rye Country Day School and resides in Greenwich She and her family moved here from Hong Kong in 2017, and community service was a way for her to " engage with the Greenwich community, ease into a new environment and build sustaining connections " She enjoys working within the intersection of art and community building and one of her projects was a partnership with the Greenwich PD Special Victims Unit where she designed and painted a mural in the waiting room for the SVU Celine plans to use the money awarded by the JLG to enlarge and improve a project she began as a member of the First Selectman's Youth Commission called Art for Activism. This venture encourages artistic expression and creativity while raising awareness for social justice issues
