WELCOME
From the President
It is my pleasure to welcome you to our virtual Auction, Stronger Together, Bidding from Afar. On behalf of our nearly 5,000 members, thank you for helping us raise funds to support our community program by participating in this year’s auction. Despite the unprecedented time, the League continues to be tirelessly committed to our mission: to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Every year, we contribute thousands of uncompensated volunteer hours and approximately $1 million to the greater Dallas community through our 38 partner agencies and the League’s Signature Projects. I couldn’t be more proud to serve as president of this wonderful organization during such an extraordinary year. While nothing could have prepared us for a pandemic, our training did prepare us to adapt and think creatively about how we could continue to support our community and each other. Our members have found inventive ways to serve and to train even when we can’t be together in person. We continue to thrive because of the dedication and commitment of our devoted membership and community partners – thank you again for your support of the Junior League of Dallas. Best,
Elizabeth Dacus

WELCOME
From the Auction Chair
Thank you so much for joining us virtually this year for the 2021 JLD Auction Party. We are thrilled to bring you more than 200+ items to bid on, made possible by our incredible in-kind donors representing the Dallas community. Thank you for your generosity and continuous support. I’d like to thank my incredible Auction Committee for their hard work. The year has been full of its own challenges, but through it all, we’ve learned so much through the planning process and about the importance of flexibility. It’s been a wonderful year getting to work with each of you! I sincerely appreciate the support of everyone who helped with this year’s auction! Sincerely,
Katie German
