“There are a lot of really smart people working on this question every day here in Charlotte but the answer will depend on what we - the voters and taxpayers - decide is best for our community. Vote!!”

“My hope is that we have found our way back to a place where we listen to each other and respect each other - work together to determine what’s best for everyone in our community.”

“I hope the city is clean and sleek, and is a major economic and transportation hub for the country.”

“More diverse and hopefully major progress in the evolving of dismantling the historic framework that prevented us from fully embracing members from all walks of life.”

“Regaining a stronger place in the CLT nonprofit resource community — be one of the top three organizations people think to support through their time, talent and treasure.”

“We are a nonprofit run by volunteers so we will always have the opportunity to work on different aspects of the organization. And our mission is to develop community leaders, so if we continue to do that, JLC members will continue to impact their work in for-profits, nonprofits, government agencies, the school system and everywhere else that impacts the lives of those in our community.”

“Continuing to grow in numbers and service”

“Significantly increase cultural competence of leadership; we serve a very diverse community and owe it to them to be supportive of their issues and advocate for them if we want to stay relevant.”
