country club plaza’s physical design is centered around the vehicle in scale, program, and atmosphere. liminal place highlights the threshold between the outside world and the shopping center, where vehicles are openly celebrated and pedestrians receive a physical respite.
central programmatic focus is integrated parking pedestrians, meanwhile, are relegated to the edges.
