You obviously can not hunt whenever you want to there are times where you hunt deer times when you hunt ducks and other things.There are different seasons so the hunters do interrupt mating seasons and so the future generation will have deer,ducks,doves,and other things for them to hunt.

Javelina Season starts in North Texas in Oct. 1 and it ends on Feb. 28. In South Texas it starts at Sep. 1 and it ends on Aug. 31. A javelina are smaller than a feral hog.They are a native species that feed mostly on prickly pear cactus.Feral hogs and javelina are not related.Feral hogs are just wild pigs and javelinas are a different species of mammals. Mule Deer Season starts in the panhandle of Texas on Nov. 21 to Dec. 6.In the south west of the panhandle the season starts Nov.21 to Nov. 29.In Trans-Pecos the season stars in Nov. 27 to Dec. 13.A mule deer is named after their ears that are big and look kind of like mule ears.A mule deer weights around 100 to 220 pounds.

White tailed deer hunting season in north Texas starts on Nov. 7 and it end on Jan.3. In south Texas the white tailed deer hunting season Starts on Nov. 7 the same time as north Texas but it ends a little later on Jan. 17.A white tailed deer is smaller than a mule deer.A male white tailed deer weights around 150 pounds,a female white tailed deer weights around 100 pounds.

Turkey

Turkey season in north Texas starts on Nov. 7 and the season ends on Jan. 3.A male turkey can get to way 11 to 24 pounds, a female can weigh up to 12 pounds and can be as light as 5 and a half pounds. Dove season has three different sections which are the north, the south and the central of Texas.The season in the north starts on Sep. 1 and it ends on Nov. 12, the other time you can hunt dove in north Texas is on Dec. 18 and the season ends on Jan. 3.In central Texas the first season starts on Sep. 1 and it ends Nov. 1, the second season in central Texas starts on Dec. 18 and it ends on Jan. 14. The first dove hunting season in south Texas starts on Sep. 14 and it ends on Nov. 1, the second dove hunting season in south Texas starts on Dec. 18 and it ends on Jan. 23.
