Visually stunning inside and out, the interior is inspired by the reddish facade of Jim Thompson’s traditional Thai houses, with cinnabar hues. The Iconic Store offers visitors an exciting retail experience. Spread over two levels with a winding staircase, customers can browse through over 6,000 products and other collaborative projects.

“The Evolving World of Jim Thompson Textiles” unveils the story of the Thai Silk Company Limited and the prominent creative figures behind the company after the mysterious disappearance of Jim Thompson in 1967. The exhibition invites the audience to explore the works and designs of these creative minds as well as the company’s production capabilities that have continued to grow from strength to strength over the past sixty years.

The house is a collection of six traditional teak Thai-style houses sourced by Jim Thompson from all over Thailand. He assembled them as his home. His house became a showcase for his extensive collection of Southeast Asian art. After Thompson’s disappearance in Malaysia in 1967, his home was turned into a museum.

The Art Center serves as a haven for artists and cultural communities to express ideas, mingle, and exchange dialogues. In conjunction with exhibitions, this is where events, lectures and seminars are organized regularly.
