RETAIL SUMMIT

Every spring semester, in January, The Retail Center sponsors The Retail Summit. The Summit encompasses an informative speaker who educates the students on career opportunities and the ever-changing trends in their chosen retail fields and includes a “ speed networking ” session. This year we were honored to have a former Seminole as our keynote speaker, Lauren Dalton, Senior Program Manager at Zulily. She shared her career journey as well as tips on entering and standing out in this evolutionary industry. Following Lauren ’ s presentation, students had the opportunity to exchange ideas about internships and future employment with executives representing a broad range of retail businesses.
