Plastic Wrap 101 ChicWrapÂŽ Professional Grade Plastic Wrap is made from PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) and is FDA Approved and Kosher Certified.

Does Professional Grade Plastic Wrap Contain Bisphenol (BPA)?

No, our plastic wrap does not contain BPA. How thick is plastic wrap?

Store brand plastic wraps measure less than 7 microns. Professional Grade Plastic Wrap measures 11 microns thick, giving it amazing stretch and resistance to tearing, but soft enough to create amazing cling-ability!

Can I use plastic wrap in the microwave?

Yes, plastic wrap can be used in the microwave. It is recommended that users poke holes to release steam. Plastic wrap can melt if heated to a high enough temperature and should not be used in the oven.

Can plastic wrap be used to freeze food?

Yes, plastic wrap will protect food when in the freezer. It is recommended that no air is between the plastic wrap and the food. This will help protect the food from freezer burn.
