FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway is a 501(c)(3), environmental nonprofit organization. The mission of FRIENDS is to help preserve, promote and enhance the outstanding natural beauty, ecological vitality and cultural distinctiveness of the Blue Ridge Parkway and its surrounding scenic landscape, thereby preserving this national treasure for future generations. Corporate members are essential to carrying out our mission. The Corporate Circle is intended to provide yearlong recognition and support to companies that share our values and objectives.

The benefits of preserving, promoting and enhancing the cultural and ecological importance of the Blue Ridge Parkway extend far beyond the scenic beauty of its 469-mile journey through Virginia and North Carolina. Corporate support of the Blue Ridge Parkway involves creating opportunities for the education of families and children as well as activities that improve the health and well being of people of all ages.
PINNACLE – $20,000 and above
Your pledge of support for FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway is a public demonstration of good corporate citizenship. It is also a responsible way of communicating your company’s support of FRIENDS to our multi-state membership base of over 8,500 members and your commitment to improving the quality of life for all who visit and live along the Blue Ridge Parkway. FRIENDS is proud to acknowledge your contribution through various media including our website, newsletter and annual report, ensuring your employees and customers are aware of your support for the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Summit level members will also be recognized in an ad in the Blue Ridge Country and Roanoker magazines, with a combined readership of over 450,000 regionally. Also included are FRIENDS logo T-shirts and caps for 20 members of your company. FRIENDS will work with your company to provide positive public relations for all initiatives performed cooperatively with FRIENDS throughout the year.
