May 2022 Levelling up in GM: supporting Greater Manchester's hidden unemployed Last month we held a conference to discuss the work we do to support GM's hidden unemployed.
The aim was to raise the profile of the importance of Motiv8’s invaluable work to help people who are not yet ready for employment.
The focus of the day was on Greater Manchester's priorities to streamline access to support services, the link between wellbeing and work, and that partnership and collaboration is crucial to ensure that this work continues.
We heard from a wide-range of speakers, including Councillor Bev Craig, Leader of Manchester City Council. The three key words from the day were:
