By providing the correct postural positioning from an early age, JCM endeavour to ensure correct skeletal and psychological development and to supply children with the facility to live life as comfortably as possible.

Postural and positioning problems do not stop with growth and every generation can be susceptible to a range of postural issues. Many of our products are available in adult sizes too - ensuring good postural care can be continued for life.
JCM believe that a comprehensive 24 hour postural management programme is central to safeguarding a child’s skeletal development. Children who do not have the ability to change their position and weight bearing independently need a 24 hour postural care programme. JCM have developed seating systems that can be used on a variety of mobile bases to ensure that the user is correctly positioned at all times. JCM also offer an extensive range of complementary therapy products and a sleep system to provide the complete solution. 1

Services Assessment Service JCM offer a free, no obligation, assessment service undertaken by an experienced Product Specialist. Our team can work alongside you to help find the best solution, as well as offering degrees of product customisation. Responsive Aftercare Should you require support with your new product, our Product Specialists can assist you with your setting up and training needs. We also offer scheduled reviews to ensure the product is correctly maintained and still meets the needs of the user.
Choices Direct Supply Scheme Choices offers a unique way to purchase a new product or rent one for a 6 to 24 month period. The scheme has been designed specifically for local authority and NHS customers who want to fast track equipment provision. The scheme works by agreeing a pricing matrix with a customer so that funding can be approved prior to the assessment. JCM will then work with the provider to obtain a list of key requirements for the end user in order to carry out the assessment and provision of the equipment in one visit. Green Policy The modular design of our products offers easy disassembly for recycling. If you would like assistance with recycling old JCM products please contact us. Triton Technical Specification ™
®
International Patent Superior Dynamics The unique dynamic back is easily adjusted to control the level of resistance the user feels as they extend in the chair. This mechanism is not a spring action, as commonly used on dynamic chairs, but is air pressure controlled and the recoil is also adjustable so the back moves in harmony with the user rather than pushing them forward as they relax. These features, unique to Triton, give the chair a controlled, gentle movement with the flexibility to adjust the system as the user grows or presents differently. The dynamic mechanism works independently to the chair’s reclining back. A locking function can be simply engaged for periods of feeding, transferring and transportation.

Controlled Pelvic Positioning In conjunction with the hip supports, the wide range of adjustment in the sacral pad allows you to position the pelvis precisely. As well as accommodating adjustment for anterior and posterior positioning, the sacral pad can be adjusted to accommodate rotation. This can be used to support a fixed position or assist with de-rotating the pelvis. In relation to the reclining and dynamic back functions the sacral pad works independently. Handling Folding postural support brackets.
Brackets ensure secure postural support when fixed in position but can be easily re-positioned or folded flat to allow personal care to take place during the night, without having to dismantle the system. The lightweight system can be folded down for transportation with the brackets still in place, alleviating the problem of having to reset the system every time it is moved. The system can also be supplied with a travel bag.

Regularly wipe over with a damp soapy cloth. Clean stains immediately to avoid absorption into the vinyl. Strong detergents, solvents, polish, wax or patent chemical cleaners must not be used as they could damage the material.
