JAMES ISLAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IS....

an amazing community united by a shared passion for Christian education. We are tremendously blessed to have dedicated faculty who know and love their students and are experts in their fields. Our beautiful campus provides a safe and secure environment in which students can focus on learning and growing into the young men and women God has created them to be. In all things, we teach and learn through a Biblical worldview.

In our lower school, our academic programs are intentionally designed to develop students who are inquisitive and engaged Our middle school program is designed to allow students to explore their unique gifts and talents through new experiences and areas of study while still offering a tremendous amount of support. The high school provides strong academic offerings allowing students to pursue their interests and embrace intellectual curiosity. Students learn to answer life’s questions from a Biblical worldview.

We desire to provide to all of our students an educational experience that is balanced and supportive. Our mission is to prepare students for college and beyond in all aspects: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

HIGH SCHOOL Grades 9-12

In our high school, we have designed a program to cultivate our future leaders.

Our college preparatory academic program includes a solid sequence of core courses taught through a Biblical worldview. Our high school program also includes a J-Term, mission trips, and spiritual retreats.

Students compliment their academics with our many cocurricular offerings that foster growth, instill confidence, and hone leadership skills.

Spiritual life programs aim to develop a Biblical worldview and prepare students for life beyond high school. Weekly chapel, leadership and service are integral parts to our program. A supportive community where students are known and mentored by a committed faculty throughout the upper school experience.
