S TAT E M E N T QUESTION: How could human PHYSICAL POSTURE inspire a design language and a re-newed approach to underused public spaces ?

THESIS STATEMENT: The thesis aims to transform the under the Manhattan bridge space to an INTERACTIVE PLAYGROUND while it creates a collaborative connection between communities and retrieves the notion of playfulness and the unexpected in the urban context. Based on the study of people’s BODY MOVEMENT, the thesis envisions MULTIPLE ELEMENTS to compose FOUR SPATIAL CONFIGURATIONS in order to facilitate and further amplify the existing space functions.
