A design is for a new type of Hospility , with it's particular geographical location . With luxury configuration meeting the needs of Five-star hotel , each room has their own balcony to keep tthe guests to stay close with stunning nature view around .

05 Path analysis

There are stairs as vertical movement in every area , the public area is surounded by the private housing area . Guests could achive each space easily ,but each of them still maintain their space range .Lobby is the center place of the hotel . ● Hiker Trail around the lake is another way to cross the lake.

07 Concept

Canoe path Snow slpoe Pedestrain path

● Converge Base in the flat area between the mountains and valleys, skiers and hikers frequently pass by , transforming the terrain to decline, and finally converge on the lake. ● Undulation With the change of seasons and the condition of melting snow , the water level of the lake will bring different curve.

● Day Scene Sight from the lake trail , passengers can enjoy the whole hotel on the side of the lake .

● Accumulated snow The surrounding mountains offer a splendid view on the "Pearl among Dolomite lakes", considered to be the most beautiful South Tyrolean lake.

● Braies lake The surrounding mountains offer a splendid view on the "Pearl among Dolomite lakes", considered to be the most beautiful South Tyrolean lake.

● Night Scene Even at night, the hotel is still a prominent presence on the base , attract people to explore more nights scene.

On the Lake Baries , there is a traditional outdoor activity - canon . People could enjoy the view of the lake and our hotel will become a new anchor point for guests .

The hall , has the best view of the lake. Outdoor infinity swimming pool is one of the specialty of the hotel facilities,there are also some rest seating area in the lobby.

The atrium yard is surround by four buildings . Passengers will have different experiences here due to the changing seasons.

As a hot spot for Tromso to enjoy the aurora , the aurora has a strong connection with Prestvannet Lake . We expect that the tourists can construct a new viewing experience by using the same principle as scientists and different perspectives to enjoy the beautiful aurora under the water .

Site

Site Analysis

The Prestvannet Lake, can be date back to 1930, because of the special geographical location, it became the first place to observe the aurora on Tromso. There is a historic Arctic planetarium next to the site, which is the center of early scientists to study the aurora.

Based on the results of the site analysis, we choosed the base be located on the northwest side of Presrvannet Lake. The arc-shaped edging design of the corridor allows visitors to go up to the roof platform, directly contact the natural aurora, and become the bridge of the two ends.Walking down the ramp and enter the museum lobby. The circular light glass above allows visitors to enjoy the aurora.

01 Entrance - axis of parallel By analyzing the direction of the aurora, we find out the axis parallel and make it become the entrance of the museum, so that visitors can walk into the underwater museum under the sight of the aurora.

Entrance - axis of parallel 02 Elements - whale diving into the sea The formation of the entrances on both sides is the axis from the analysis of the site, and also from the history of Prestvannet that the two small lakes are combined and merged into one.The direction of the two endpoints is related to the local cultural background.

From the entrance to the hall completely sink in the water and the silent space, symbolizing the past culture concealed in the lake. When leaving, the corridor that walks back to the lake surface rises, symbolizing the tolerance of culture today, allowing it to regain a new life.

03 Under Water Just as scientists connect with nature through the observatory, we hope that this museum can also serve as a place for tourists to connect with the sites’ environment Scientists use the principle of lights’ refraction and reflection to observe the aurora.

04 Interior path - legend of aurora As for the Sámi people, the aurora is also a sign that guides the direction in the special local environment which is when polar day occurs. Therefore, we use the direction generated by the auroral light as the (an) 02 Interior path - legend of aurora internal moving line to connect the spaces.

05 Interior space - concept of floating lawn Submerged the building in the water, 04 Facade - Sami’s tent creates a gap with the water surface and reduce the invasion of the land. Using the looming features of the floating lawn on the base, we adopted a concentrated mass design.

25 Ideation Bauhaus is famous for the teaching method of learning from experiment. It initiated the pioneering of artists and craftsman as a teacher at the same time .This education method which emphasizes theory and practice has influenced the later design department education. We will explore campus space in innovative and experimental way.

31 Entrance and the Cube

Ideation

The current entrance sign and the guard room are divided into two parts, which makes the entrance look a bit cluttered and the original green space is not properly planned, making the entrance poorly connected to the outside and making the campus look distant from people.

In this renovation, we integrated the original separate architectural style is applied to the design vocabulary in a signboards into the building façade, making the entrance transformed form. design more integral and adding a backlit design so that everyone can clearly see the signboards and the school name even at night. Material Choice In the choice of materials, the main body is made of white ceramic, which allows the light to be reflected. On the front facade, various materials are used to give a multi-layered effect to the facade vocabulary, and neon lights are used as the base, together with black metal plates and matte metal plates to show a futuristic and technological sense, without losing its sense of calmness in the choice of colors. The main visual focus is to visualize the lines of radio wave transmission.

Design The rendering on the right shows the interior of the guard room, which shows the view from the inside to the outside. The guard has better lighting space and can look through to the outside.The rendering on the left illustrates the view of people moving around the newly designed campus entrance at night, with guiding floor lights and backlighting of signage to create a focal point and make use of the campus entrance area.

Elevation The original ventilation ducts were out of place in the school, but by using the same elements and vocabulary as the entrance design, the design has been integrated, and the original map display has been changed to a laser engraved metal plate, which not only enhances the visual experience, but also achieves the effect of unity between inside and outside.

The height of the grass slope is designed according to the ergonomic height, so that students or teachers can stop to rest or discuss the work at any time no matter where they go. People Flow Path The originally partitioned gardens are prone to slippery after rain or snow because of inconspicuous roads and exposed soil, making it difficult for people to gather and stay.

Ceramics is the main material in these spaces , the reflective mirror surface and streamlined shape represent the sense of the future.

Positive and negative charges attract each other, but the glass bottle is an insulator, which prevents them from neutralizing, so the charge is stored.The power generation is based on the principle of photovoltaic effect , using solar cells to directly convert solar energy into electrical energy .Regardless of the wheather it is used independently or connected to the grid for power generation.

● Site Traveling Thailand and Myanmar by cruising though the tortuous highway 105, we come to a gathering place for international volunteers - Mae Sot, which is an important traffic city to Yangon.

By designing the core area, we could let international volunteers enter the refugee via circulation, lifestyle and also creating several spaces between refugees and volunteers.

Frame

To the use of alcohol , people can open the frame latch. The integrated design saves the bottle cap from worrying about missing the bottle cap . The material of the phone case is transparent plastic , which is easy to understand the remaining amount of alcohol.

The design of alcohol and mobile phone case likes to disinfect wherever they go, to reduce the trouble of forgetting alcohol bottles.

Detailed describtion Taking advantage of the characteristics of high pressure going to low pressure, 12 small holes are opened under the storage area so that water can slowly drip into the soil.The exploded map of potted plants is used in the transformation from the common and common form of potted plants. Use the wide opening of the pot as a storage area for watering water.
