National/International examination results are required (i.e., IGCSE, WASSCE, etc.).

ACT, SAT, and CLT score submissions are optional for all international students.
Students attending schools with English language instruction: English test scores are optional.
Students attending schools with non-English instruction:

IELTS: 6.5 minimum

SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Any student with a 3.0 or better high school GPA is guaranteed an academic scholarship at Calvin. Academic scholarships are determined based on the student’s academic performance in high school. For students who apply as test optional, only GPA is used to determine an academic scholarship. Updated GPAs and test scores are accepted through March 1.
These academic scholarships are guaranteed through your sophomore year at Calvin and are renewable for up to three additional undergraduate years with a cumulative Calvin GPA of 3.0.

Although Calvin awards generous financial aid to international students, families should be prepared to contribute at least $30,000 per year towards total expenses.
APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID
International students must submit all application materials by April 1 for need-based aid consideration. U.S. citizens applying for need-based aid should submit the FAFSA online starting in October.
