Saint Louis: Enrolled at Saint Louis University as a freshman in 2020-21... Played in eight games off the bench and averaged 2.1 points per contest as a walk-on with the Billikens.

Prep: Helped lead Vashon High School to a state title his junior season...Vashon was also in the state semifinals his senior year before it was canceled due to COVID-19... Averaged 15.7 points per game en route to claiming All-State honors as a senior, shooting 45 percent from the field and 56.8 percent from 3-point range.

Personal: Born October 11, 2001... Majoring in General Studies...Son of Phillip Russell and Teirra Knox... Initially signed with SEMO out of high school, but decommitted and went to Saint Louis as a walk-on.
