Kaysia (pronounced Kay-see-ah) M. Earley is an award-winning trial litigator and founding attorney for Earley Law Firm, PLLC. She practices both criminal and civil litigation and is a strong advocate for her clients.

Background: The middle child of seven siblings, Kaysia was raised by a single mother, and is a firstgeneration college graduate. During Kaysia’s senior year in college, she was arrested and charged with felony embezzlement as a result of discounting merchandise while working at a shoe store. Years later, Kaysia is a revered and compassionate attorney and credits her time incarcerated as the catalyst for her zealous advocacy.

Education/Litigation/Media: Kaysia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Howard University, Washington, DC (’04) and her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, Miami, FL (’13). As a former Assistant Public Defender, Kaysia effectively managed a caseload of 180–220 clients, tried a record of over 100 trials to verdict, and won dismissals in over 250 other cases. During law school, Kaysia clerked for the Honorable Judge Andrew Siegel, of the 17th Judicial Circuit and worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Kaysia is also a legal expert analyst on various shows including CourtTV, Law & Crime, News Nation, and various other news outlets.

Community Service: As an active member in her profession and community, Kaysia is a firm believer of the biblical principle, “for unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required” (Luke 12:48 KJV). She dedicated hundreds of hours in her community as a lecturer at churches, homeless shelters, detention centers, and universities, on topics relating to criminal law, trial practice, and oral presentation skills.

Also known as the TRAPS Attorney, she is the creator of ARRIVE ALIVE: Avoid the T.R.A.P.S., Survival Tips for Police Encounters. She is passionate about empowering youth to know their Constitutional rights and has given away thousands of free T.R.A.P.S. cards to citizens all across America.

Family: Kaysia resides in Broward County, and is a loving wife to her husband David of 19 years, and the proud mother of four children (one daughter (11) and three sons (18, 14, & 9)).
