You helped make this a year unlike any other in our history - full of unprecedented victories in the face of challenge

Reflecting back at a fiscal and calendar yearend fills me with tremendous pride, gratitude, and anticipation for the next steps on the journey ahead.

Here's a snapshot of what made this year so unique:

Your kindness allowed us to serve 41,451 people: double than ever before in our history.

Through the expansion of the Entrepreneurial Training program - which empowers communities - people were served in a deeper way, leading to unbelievable results like co-ops doubling their revenue within 3 months!

Just as we were expanding our reach, challenges like inflation driving prices up 30% in Uganda, the recession driving down giving, plus the exchange rate, made matters difficult We were forced to scale back the number of health clinics that received clean, safe latrines which felt so hard.

Our donor community rallied - growing in leaps and bounds, primarily driven by champions fundraising for us: one champion helped us by inviting 72 new people into this community!

In the midst of challenges, we still grew new donors by 47%, which helped us, especially near year-end!

Our vision of becoming the world's most sustainable water charity has become much closer to reality. Your generosity helped us: repair 2 water systems, grow our recurring monthly revenue by 5.8%, and increase our Canadian to Ugandan Staff ratio to 3.2:26!
