Print Club London was established in 2007 and is run by Managing Director Fred Higginson (Sculptor / Illustrator) and Director Kate Higginson. The duo work closely with iconic illustrator and Creative Director Rose Stallard, who brings the Print Club brand to life with her inimitable typographic style.

Print Club’s East London hub comprises a large open screen printing studio, creative co-working desk space, artists’ studios, and exhibition space, and also serves as the HQ for their online gallery, selling limited edition screen prints.

This kit and step-by-step guide has been developed by Luckies with Print Club London so that anyone can design their own t-shirts, tea towels, bags and banners, whether or not they’ve printed before.

Our reusable templates and waterbased inks mean no nasty chemicals or single use screens. Just print, rinse and repeat. All you need is water, tape and some fresh ideas.

Print t-shirts, totes, patches and sweaters.

The kit includes a pre-stretched wooden screen, 20cm wooden squeegee, 100ml black fabric ink, reusable vinyl templates, wooden spatulas and a step-by-step guide to get you started. The fuss-free, waterbased ink can be air-dried and set with an iron at home. It also means that garments can be washed at 40°C, clean up is easy and that the templates can be used again.

There is even a blank vinyl to cut your own templates from.

After studying at the Chelsea College of Art & Design and working as a textile designer, Jacqueline turned her attention to illustration and print-making.

Hope is Fearless

She now specialises in creating explorable and playful illustrations and has worked across editorial, product, packaging and set design.

Jacqueline’s illustrations often cover the realms of travel and curiosity and are the perfect themes to express her love of colour, pattern and typography. The jigsaw puzzles in this range feature work from her ongoing Typographic series in which she explores type and print making.

Born in London in 1964, Dave Buonaguidi has spent over 30 years in advertising. He created the iconic ‘Make Tea Not War’ print for the anti-Iraq War March in 2003 which is now part of the permanent collection at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.

I Think We’re Fucking Lost

Dave began screen printing in 2015 whilst on a hiatus from his day job and has been addicted ever since. He’s made a name for himself printing bold and sometimes controversial type onto found objects he sources himself.

Be Big, one of Dave’s biggest, boldest and most popular prints has made it onto our jigsaws, as has Let’s Go Get Lost Together, originally printed on a vintage map of New York City.

Lucille Clerc is a French illustrator based in London. She set up her studio after graduating from Central Saint Martins and works mainly within the field of editorial design and illustration for books and magazines.

Botanical Follies

Much of Lucille’s personal work is inspired by the architecture of London and Paris. Her clients include renowned international retailers, brands, museums and publishers. Her work is regularly exhibited in shows across Europe.

We’ve selected two of Lucille’s pieces for our jigsaws, Barbican Conservatory and London, Paris, Brussels. Two great examples of how her work explores the relationship between nature and urbanisation.

Artist Clare Halifax graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Printed Textile Design, followed by a Masters in Multidisciplinary Printmaking from UWE. This saw her work develop into limited edition prints focusing primarily on cityscapes, landscapes, botanicals and animals.

Her clients have included the Victoria & Albert Museum, Coast Magazine, Liberty London, and Farrow & Ball. Clare resides in London where she continues to be influenced by her everyday environment.

The Scratch Map™ was conceived in 2009 when the team at Luckies, already exploring the use of scratchable foils, realised that applying it to a map would be the perfect way to record your travels.
