To say that 2020 was a challenging year would be an understatement. We’ve watched fellow manufacturers and beloved retailers fall victim to an unimaginable pandemic. And sadly we all know friends and family who have felt the personal lose of a loved one. Navigating through these stormy seas, we’ve also witnessed fortitude, compassion, empathy and kindness. A vaccine offers hope that 2021 will allow some of the old normalcy to return. It also marks our 24th year in business. We’ve always been keenly aware that it is because of you we are able to do this, you are Aunt Sadie’s heartbeat. Stephen Huneck Angel Cat Stephen Huneck was an American wood carving artist, furniture maker, painter, and author.

In 1994 Stephen fell down a flight of stairs which left him in a coma for two months.

With the help of his wife Gwen (and his dogs coming into the hospital to visit) he was able to make a full recovery, but this forever changed the focus of his work to dogs, which Stephen noted is “God” spelled backwards.

His iconic images really capture the essence of living with dogs. Pieces of Stephen's artwork are in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution, the Dog Museum of America, the American Kennel Club, and in homes of tens of thousands of private collectors. www.dogmt.com
