Where Is She Now? From Barrack Science to MIT...

Meet Zoë Steier, Barrack Class of 2011.

Inspired by caring and talented Barrack teachers, Zoe’s passion for science and math was kindled early in her school career and continued to burn bright throughout her years at Barrack and beyond.

Zoë at Barrack

Putting her critical thinking and creative skills to work, she won a number of science awards and placed first in Drexel University College of Medicine’s Discovery Day for her research on antifungal drugs.

Where is she now? Zoë is a sophomore at MIT, majoring in chemical and biological engineering and accomplishing her goals.

She attributes her success to her Barrack teachers and experiences.
