Atrial fibrillation (Afib) is an irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia) that starts in the upper parts of the heart.

Revolutionizing the Approach to Heart Rhythm Care St. Luke’s Atrial Fibrillation Center is lead by a team of cardiac electrophysiologists and cardiac surgeons who have specialized training in treating Afib and other heart rhythm disorders. It is the most common type of abnormal heart rhythm affecting nearly 2.2 million American adults every year.
