SAFETY NET With your support, Jewish Family and Children’s Services helped more than 130,000 people navigate life’s challenges last year. We provide coordinated emergency services, expert mental health counseling, and loving home-based care to ensure that every child, family, and senior can find the help they need to get back on their feet.

THIS YEAR, TOGETHER WE IMPROVED LIVES.

2,600,200 hours of loving care helped older adults live safely and with dignity through JFCS’ Seniors At Home and Rhoda Goldman Plaza.

92% of counseling clients reported improved mental well-being.

300 young adults with disabilities are living full and independent lives, thanks to JFCS’ Shupin Community.

8,150 individuals and their families found comfort through JFCS’ Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy Services.

40,777 warm meals were delivered to seniors in need.

The JFCS Holocaust Center is Northern California’s hub for Holocaust and genocide education—and a global leader in combating antisemitism and hate.

165,000

students, teachers, and community members learned about Jewish history, the Holocaust, and how to stand up to hate.

1,300,000 students will be reached by

2029 through teacher trainings by the JFCS-led California Teachers Collaborative for Holocaust and Genocide Education.

Building Northern California’s Only Holocaust Center Demand for our programs grows every day, but we have outgrown our current space. Together, we are creating a stateof-the-art Holocaust Center—the only one of its kind in Northern California—to preserve history, instill pride in Jewish heritage, expand programming, and empower every child and teacher with the tools to resist hate.
