We are honoured to present our first IMPACT newsletter, which offers a glimpse into the impact of your contribution towards our community. Everything that happens at Chabad is thanks to the unwavering support of friends like you.

Your support has allowed us to provide an open door environment for strengthening and enhancing Jewish life for every Jew regardless of background, philosophy or level of commitment. It has enabled us to serve the needs of all residents in the Woodbridge area and beyond, providing a community anchor and hub with a non-judgmental, accepting, personalized Jewish experience. You Gave Me A Community

From the very first moment we walked through their doors, we were embraced by a warmth and sense of belonging that made us feel like family. Chana and Rabbi Bakshi, the incredible leaders of this community, have created a sanctuary where people can come together, celebrate, and support one another.

Chabad of Woodbridge has been an invaluable source of guidance and inspiration. Chana and Rabbi Bakshi have provided an environment where Jews from different backgrounds and traditions can come together and celebrate. They have provided a space for us to engage in meaningful conversations and take part in our traditions together as a community.

Many wonderful occasions have been celebrated with Chabad. From my daughter’s baby naming ceremony to the joyous Purim celebrations and the heartfelt Yom Kippur services. Chana and Rabbi Bakshi have an incredible ability to bring people together and making everyone feel welcomed and cherished.

Chabad of Woodbridge has become an important part of our lives. The dedication and love that Chana and Rabbi Bakshi pour into this community is evident in every interaction, every celebration, and every act of support.

We are extremely appreciative of the work Chabad of Woodbridge does and feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this community. Looking forward to many more beautiful occasions!

You Have Given My Daughter An Opportunity To Shine

My daughter is eight and has been going to Chabad Woodbridge Hebrew school for a year now. She loves attending the classes and learning about Judaism. She always comes home with new information she’s learned and different art and craft activities that she did that Sunday.

Rebetzin Chana is a kind and attentive educator. Her passion for teaching shines through when she speaks about my daughter’s progress and how far she has come in her learning of the Hebrew alphabet and the rituals. Every small and big milestone in the children’s learning is celebrated. My daughter is now able to recognize Hebrew letters, Jewish rituals and prayers. She sings the songs she learns in Hebrew school at home. We are very appreciative of the education and friendships we’ve gained through the Hebrew school.

My Loving Home Away From Home

I’m so thankful that I have met Rabbi Bakshi who entirely understands the meaning of the word love. Not only does he know the names of the people of his community, but also of their wives & children and cares about each and everyone. He knows the challenges that these people face and always finds a way to help. The shul he leads out of his home is a welcoming place with a warm and vibrant atmosphere. When I join the Shabbat and Holiday celebration, I can feel that this is my place. I can feel a sense of tranquility knowing that thank G-d, I’m here, and finally able to be myself and return to my roots. Thank you Rabbi Bakshi for being there for my family. You are truly a loving friend, brilliant Rabbi and teacher.

YOU ARE INCLUSIVE AND ACCEPTING

Rabbi Bakshi and Rebetzin Chana have accepted our family with open arms. They started out as leaders in the community and have become friends. They are warm, accepting, understanding and are very supportive with any question or concern we may have. We feel confident in approaching them with any matter related to our family and our Judaism journey.

Rabbi Bakshi and Chana always manage to organize fantastic events for the holidays with an amazing turnout. They always manage to engage the community to a maximum. They are so positive, inclusive, accepting and we hope that God gives them strength to continue to grow the Jewish community of Woodbridge and Kleinburg.
