The biggest fluke in the world!' By Morris Maline What happened to Marilyn Tipp? One day, she's a nice Jewish girl taking care of her husband, Steven, and their children ~ cooking, cleaning and housekeeping. The next day, she's a right-wing extremist, Christian fundamentalist, and pro-lifer-picketing and screaming outside an abortion clinic. It could only happen in the movies ~ and it is. Believe it, or not, Mrs. Tipp has the seventh largest role in the motion jjicture. 'It's the biggest fluke in the world...I'm a rank amateur working with professionals, I have my own trailer for changes, and people ore coming up to me asking for my autograph." She added, "This is a once-in-a-lifetime situation, and I'm enjoying every minute."
Mrs. Tipp's real-life fantasy started when a friend of hers asked her to audition for a part in the film. "I was handed some lines and told to make believe that I was a pro-choice woman angry at pro-lifers. I got carried away with what I was doing and added some expletives to enhance my anger. I was thanked and that was the end so I thought' However, she then was called back for another reading and this time was told to be upset and cry| "1 mustered up all my 'talent,' and practically cried on demand as they shot all around my face... the director was so pleased that he came up to me and kissed my Laura Dem. She said the majority of the film will be shot in the Omaha area-about 17 locations in all-and that a day on the set for her is from 7 a.m. to noon. *I can't get over the fact that these famous people are really buddies, and that Tm actually acting with them and being taken seriously..,fromII UIJ^ my friends; I'm being ribbed beyond belief
