pPeres confident Sharee and Murray Newman R>f Reagan's plan establish new Supporting Foundation WASHINGTON (JTA)laradi Foreign Minister Shimon Peres emerged from a 30-minute meeting with ' President Reagan Tuesday expressing confidence that Reiagan will pursue the Middle East peace process during his summit talks with Soviet leader Mikhail Gor. bachev in Moscow May 29 to June 2. Peres told reporters that HReagan t(dd him he wiU discuss the peace process as well as the need for Moscow to resume diplomatic relations with Israel and the ] cause of Soviet Jewry. But Peres cautioned that be did not expect an agreement to be reached in Moscow on the peace process, but rather a continuation of the effort by the United States to bring about negotiationa between Israel and Jordan. Peres said that he stressed to Reagan that the peace process is "complicated ... but there is no reason to give up and no reason to feel we have reached the end of the road." He added that "the United States is determined to continue the peace process."

Newman Supposing Foundation for the benefit of the Jewish Federation of Omaha, Inc., designed to further the purposes of the Federation. .' •' The Newman Supporting Foundation, with initial funding of $100,000, is administered b/a seven-member Board of Trustees. Harlan Noddle serves as president; Sharee C. Newman, vice president and Lisa Lewis is secretarytreasurer. Also serving are Dt^vid L. Friedman, chairman of the Foundation of the Federation; Jay Lemer, vice president of the Federation; Dr. Patricia Newman anid Murray Newman. "Our ultimate goal and wish is to fund this supporting foundation with sufficient dollars toendow our annual campaign gifts in perpetuity during our lifetime," said Mr. Newman. According to Jerold Rosen, Endowment director, "A supporting foundation is recognized as a public charity under Federal tax law and is appropriate when a donor wishes to establish a substantial fund and perpetuate its separate identity. The donor and/or family members may be Trustees of a supporting foundation and may participate in the decision-making process regarding (fistribution of funds. "The nuyority of Trustees, however, are appointed by the Federation, as ultimate control must remain with the Federation as represented by these Trustees.
