Motivated Men Ask You to Dinner By Karen Pollak Involve- Recruit- FutureNeed- Togetherness- Moral Obligation: these words, feelIngs and Ideas were expressed by a sample of men hosting the upcoming Men's Invitational Dinner on April 30, at Peony Park. The men were responding to the question "What particular things motivated you to support this Dinner?" The effort to promote the community spirit of togetherness by the leaders of the dinner influenced Larry Gilinsky. "The innovative Idea of the dinner compelled me to continue supporting the Campaign. I like the 'no pressure' approach. It is a different way of fund raising. I feel the organizers are doing a creative and beautiful job." Don Rice has been involved with the community and the Federation for some 30 years. His father was also very active. Mr. Rice said we "must keep the ball rolling, the Interest alive and recruit the younger people of our community. The older people must set an example for the younger people. It is one's duty to give and support the functions within the community." When Joe Erman was asked what motivated him to support the Dinner, he said it went back to what you learn from your parents and how you were brought up. "When you grow up seeing people active in the community, my parents were active, and when you get older, you
