7 Gaba Heads Lincoln Drive Herbert F. Gaba, president of the Lincoln Jewish Welfare Federation will head the 1978 Campaign, assisted by Irwin G o l d e n b e r g a n d Yale GoUdlncr. Mr. Gaba was chairman of the successful campaigns in 1970 and 1971. He pointed out that Jewish residents of Lincoln will be called on later this month. Several events are being planned, and information will be released soon, Mr. Gaba added.
March 16. "The Telethon Campaign is of particular importance this year since we will be calling about 800 prospects who pledged in excess of $50,000 in 1977," Mr.Wintroubsald. Each department of the .Federation has been asked to provide lay leadership to man the phones during the Telethon sessions. "The response has been great, and we now have sufficient volunteers to reach our prospects," Mr. Wintroub said. He urged members of the Jewish Community to help the volunteers by making each call successful. Lincoln Names Women's Division Leaders LINCOLN - Mrs. Max (Eleanor) Nelden has been selected to head tbe Women's Division of the Lincoln Federation's 1978 Fund Drive! She will be assisted by Mrs. Herbert (Rachacl) Gaba and Mrs. Gerald (Dorothy) Grant. Mrs. Nelden and her cochalrwomen have already started preparing for the Campaign and have scheduled a meeting and coffee for'the Captains at her home, 3441 Cal vert, March 15 at 10 a.m. A luncheon for the Federation Women's Drive in Lincoln will be held at the University Club, March 29 at noon.
